After my journey to Surinam, I immediately started with the pages for Rhelda. Trine, love the start off you made: the cover and your pages are beautiful. I like the idea very much. So here my pages for Rhelda. Thought these pics should have their space on our blog, right?
Haven't read much on milliande.ning, but I hope you are all doing well. Hugs, Lucine

Purple -- Owl -- Tree
There was a loose sheet, so I simply tipped it in to the journal. The "front" of the tip-in has a forest scene at dusk; the "back" of the tip-in is the bottom half of the owl on a purple-dusky-night background. The owl was drawn and coloured separately before being glued over the two hinged sheets. The hinge is packing tape, so it should stand up to the journal's remaining journey.

Beth's Entry into Lucine's Journal
Lucine's journal made me smile. The theme "Smile... Do not fear" brought many joyous thoughts. I thought, "What makes me smile?". Color, always makes me happy. So, I probably went a little overboard. Here's my spread for Lucine.

Fairy Tales for Mary
There are so many Fairy Tales that I couldn't decide on one until I remembered this wonderful art I somehow discovered by John Bauer. He painted the most moving pictures for Swedish fairy tales. He did many with Princess Tuvstarr/Cottongrass featured. This one is a favorite. ENJOY And look up John Bauer.
I forwarded your journal on March 26th to Rachel.
