Anne's Page for Mary's Fairy Tale Collection
I managed to catch some sunshine through the window for photographing this.
I had a collection of faerie folk illustrations and I kept getting the image of a bunch of them sitting around a storyteller (my mind often thinks in puns)... so it's my take on the theme.

Anne's ByGone Era for Beth's Journal
Here's the left page of the spread:
The photo quality is not that great -- dark winter light and flash will just wash parts of it out.
I love collecting vintage images so used a selection of them in this spread.

Kalona's spread for Beth's "Bygone Era"
Well, here it is, a pic taken at 98% complete... so as to leave a bit of a suprise, eh!
This is the 2 page spread together. I've posted the separate pages on the journal section my blog.
I've always been into the nicer side of medieval history, you know- the
flowing gowns, knights on horses, dragons and chivalry... so it had to
be my theme for a bygone age.
There's a bit of my chainmaille in there, some embossed copper, lots of
stencilled gel medium, acrylics, pastel pencils and inks. Hope Beth
likes it...

Louise's page in Anne's "Light through the cracks"
Have just finished my page in Anne's gorgeous journal
Sometimes I struggle with the themes and I just need to wait till inspiration strikes,
Once I found this quote the page just flowed.
"When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold, they believe that when something's suffered and has a history it becomes more beautiful."

Lucine for Beth
My page in Beth's "Bygone Era" art journal. A really beautiful art journal, but it was a challenge. I conquered and I am so satisfied with this page. Sometimes vintage seems a mystery to me, so I tried to bring some colour in this Bygone Era. I tried to make red look bygone. Hope you'll like it Beth:-D
