I finished my page in Trine's journal "Blue is the Color". Blue reminds me of peace, serenity and calmness. That is why I decided to draw a Mandala. It has been said that drawing a Mandala allows you to use your creative brain which can lead you to a meditative state where you can perform constructive
healing, and gain incredible insight into yourself and your life.
Here is my contribution. Sorry, the colors were off in my camera, so I had to use my scanner and do the spread in 2 segments.

Sadie's Page in Trine's "Blue is the Color" journal
Sadie asked that I show her spread. It is fabulous with gorgeous colors and very three dimensional. The picture does not show that the butterflies wings pop out, so clever. Trine, you'll love it.

Nature Vision in DeeDee's Journal
I had thought I had uploaded this, but I guess not... Marie has the journal right now.
I had the privilege of having DeeDee's journal here on Earth Day. The sun is the metal casing for a tea light. I used Derwint Inktense blocks and acrylic paints for the spread, and the lettering is done with ink and gel pen.

Kal's spread in Deedee's journal
I thought I'd posted this spread... but it must have only been on Milli's, not here. There is some lovely work in Deedee's journal already, and I really struggled with this one! Isn't it funny sometimes things just come naturally, and others you have to wring out...
I went for some heavily textured collage .. and a few of my favourite animals, funny how a cat theme came through, so swapped a panther for a koala fro a little variation. Wouldn't it be great if we could all fly and be free? I wish...
Hope you enjoy, Deedee.xx

Beth's page in Kal's journal "Journey"
Throughout our lives we take many journeys. Some journeys are exciting and wonderful. Then, there are the journeys that are sad and heart breaking.
I went to Catholic schools for 12 years. In those years we were taught about angels. As I have gotten older, my mind has returned to thinking about angels and how they are with us on our journeys. That is why I dedicated my page to the angels who guide us on our wonderful and heart breaking journeys.
In school, I learnt a prayer dedicated to Guardian Angels. I remember it to this day. The day after I decided to do the page on my Guardian angel and to use the prayer I received a letter in the mail with that same prayer and a coin with an angel on it. Was that a coincidence or an answer?
I placed the coin on my page. The background was made from ripped maps. I tried to use a piece of map of all the different places in the world that we ,15 artists, live.

My addition for Rhelda's AJ
After my journey to Surinam, I immediately started with the pages for Rhelda. Trine, love the start off you made: the cover and your pages are beautiful. I like the idea very much. So here my pages for Rhelda. Thought these pics should have their space on our blog, right?
Haven't read much on milliande.ning, but I hope you are all doing well. Hugs, Lucine

Purple -- Owl -- Tree
There was a loose sheet, so I simply tipped it in to the journal. The "front" of the tip-in has a forest scene at dusk; the "back" of the tip-in is the bottom half of the owl on a purple-dusky-night background. The owl was drawn and coloured separately before being glued over the two hinged sheets. The hinge is packing tape, so it should stand up to the journal's remaining journey.

Beth's Entry into Lucine's Journal
Lucine's journal made me smile. The theme "Smile... Do not fear" brought many joyous thoughts. I thought, "What makes me smile?". Color, always makes me happy. So, I probably went a little overboard. Here's my spread for Lucine.
