Below are the pages I completed for the three journals I have on hand:  Loren , Sadie, and Shari.  I'll probably mail out a box to Marie this afternoon (beat the Christmas shipping rush!).

I just finished an All Hallow's Eve wedding page this morning.  I've got ideas for Sadie's and Shari's, probably get them done tonight.  Will post pictures of all three pages before I do a bundled mailing to Marie.

Haiku: Lucine for Sadie

Great things about a Round Robin is that someone's art journal passes you. You challenge the theme of your partner and share your page with others. I received Sadie's art journal a couple of weeks ago. The theme of Sadie's art journal is Haiku. So I will create an art journal page for Sadie in her Haiku art journal. Yes, I had to look up what Haiku was. Once heard of it, but I could not remember what it was. It is an interesting poetry style. I came up with several Haiku's and I share my best Haiku's with Sadie in her art journal.

Beth, your pages are finally ready! I hope you like my interpretation. Unnfortunately, the pages did not scan very clearly. I will be off to the post office in a few minutes. I enjoyed working in Sadie's Haiku journal. I found a butterfly Haiku that I liked and went with the butterflly theme. Love butterflies and I hope Sadie does too. I do get carried away sometimes so there's lots of butterflies fluttering through the sky.........

Once I mail Sadie's journal to Loren next week, I will not have any journals to work on from our group.

Artist: Sadie DeSimone

I'm a new artist starting at the tender age of 72. My theme for the 15AJM RR is "Haiku". It is the simplest form of poetic art, concise, sometimes humorous, often profound, always to the point.

I'm still learning, much yet to learn, and very willing to do so, making many boo-boos along the way. I have always, always, always admired everything creative. I am deeply in awe of the talent of those who break out of the ordinary and express themselves from their inner core. That is what I seek to accomplish. I have not found "my voice" in visual art --- yet. But I have another 25-30 years to practice, so there's hope -- and time! Let the journey continue!!! Peace, xoxo
