Update Lucine's creation for Mary
A sneek peek on my page for Mary. Theme: Fairy Tales. I have to add some cuties on the page yet. The page will leave @ the end of this week. I'll confirm and post a pic of the final piece. xoxo .... Lucine

Kalona's page for Rhelda
Rhelda didn't get a journal going so we are doing loose pages instead. The theme is "Soul Play"
I used photos, cutouts, embossed card, stickers, copics, gellies and markers, sequins, oil and soft pastels, acrylics and gel mediums. One of my websites has Art and Soul in the title so I couldn't think of anything more appropriate...

Kal's spread in Deedee's journal
I thought I'd posted this spread... but it must have only been on Milli's, not here. There is some lovely work in Deedee's journal already, and I really struggled with this one! Isn't it funny sometimes things just come naturally, and others you have to wring out...
I went for some heavily textured collage .. and a few of my favourite animals, funny how a cat theme came through, so swapped a panther for a koala fro a little variation. Wouldn't it be great if we could all fly and be free? I wish...
Hope you enjoy, Deedee.xx

Mary's Page Spread in Sadie's Journal
I enjoyed working in Sadie's Haiku journal. I found a butterfly Haiku that I liked and went with the butterflly theme. Love butterflies and I hope Sadie does too. I do get carried away sometimes so there's lots of butterflies fluttering through the sky.........
Once I mail Sadie's journal to Loren next week, I will not have any journals to work on from our group.

Smile, Do not Fear

Hi Everyone, Just like Beth said below... I too had sort of a "artist's block" and had no idea how to relate to the theme and wanted to take my time with it as it's not my journal... right? So, after my Saturday morning Art Class which usually gets the juices flowing the idea came to me and I worked on it most of Sunday. Lucine, I hope you like it. She's at peace with herself...

Hi everyone...
I've just been catching up with all the posts from the behind the scenes aspect....did you know that we can label all our posts so that they come up in the search engines ?
When you publish your post, at the bottom of the peachy box is a box marked "labels". Click "show all" and a whole list of previously added words will show to help you choose. To add new words, just type in the box and comma... you can add @20 words so have a peek at the labels already used and be as varied as you can...it all helps!! Also, if you type a letter in the box a list appears with words beginning with that letter, just another way to make it easy...
I'll add this into the helps and hints section so you can read at leisure...
Happy creating,
Kal.xxx

A few pictures to share with all of you. First is Liz Monaghan's wonderfully beautiful journal cover. OMG the whole journal, the entry page, the sign in pages, the front and back covers are just unbelievable! This picture does not do it justice. There are actual beads in the stitching all around the cover!

My contribution
I just received Loren Cranes journal from Liz and will begin this week. Pictures to follow...

Our new Facebook page...
Linking to Facebook
I've now linked up to Facebook, as I've not done this before I don't know if I've done it the best way or not, but we'll see.
15 +1 link
BUT, the simplest way to get our work up there is to hit the tiny F button in the block of buttons at the bottom of each and every post, so do that when you add a new post and the FB page will mirror posts here.
Also there is a new Link to facebook button on the right of the page, click on that to get there.
I'm still working on getting so you can all post as well as comment..it's changed since I did it several years back...
There should also be little LIKE buttons appearing at the bottom of each post...from now on, I hope.
If anyone knows a bit more about this kind of linking and can offer advice/expertise, please let me know!! Not really my strongpoint, I just get by!
See you all there!!

Long posts
I could not enter the blog before. Just happy to say: now I can! That is why I added three posts; for each of the two journals I worked in. Also a post on my art journal. Happy, happy, happily waiting for the next journal.
